Biography
Coming from the glass and steel of Toronto, producer FICMARO brings a dynamic vision to the underground electronic music scene.
Blurring the lines of dance, experimental, and cinematic genres, he continuously values the principals of innovation and exploration. A self-taught musician, performance-art graduate, and creative director his work focuses on environments that feel both enveloping and expansive.
Releasing earlier singles like "MEMMAKER", "Return to Salt", "Do it With Us", and "Now So Am I" , crossing-through techhouse, UK garage, progressive house, and electro — and charting on college radio stations across North America and France, FICMARO illustrates a commercial viability that is neither formulaic or mediocre—but instead self-realized.
In late 2025, he released his debut album Tidal Reflections, a master-class of cinematic dreampunk introspection, produced between Toronto and Barcelona, mastered at Metropolis Studio UK, and released on his own independent label Teleport Booth Records. The 12" vinyl record, consisting of 13 tracks, glides through ambient dream-states, organic techhouse, and emotional electronic grooves. While singles "Islands", "Dreamscape", "キス・ツナミ Tsunami Kisser", and "Shampoo Starlet" helped propel his work with music critics in the UK, US, Italy, France, and Germany.
Now in 2026, FICMARO directs his attention to live performance, within a fusion of imagery and sound.
