Biography
DJ, music producer, event curator, live performer and teacher — Melanie Massa is one of the most complete artists in today’s national electronic scene. Her multifaceted career has always been driven by experimentation. Influenced by the minimalist movement of the early 2010s, with Magda as her main reference, Melanie began her artistic journey in 2011 as a self-taught explorer of electronic arts. Through Ableton Live she found the perfect platform to express herself, composing experimental and minimal music. Since her first Live performance in 2012, she has maintained this as her strongest format, later joining Teqwave Records. By 2016, her influences expanded with Disco and Rock from her family roots, exploring Indie Dance, Nu Disco and Dark Disco, collaborating with renowned artists like Miro Pajic and Troy Pierce. She has shared the stage with Marc Houle, Fabio Florido, Stella Bossi, Space 92, and even her mentor Magda. In 2021 she founded Attack Records, a label and event producer focused on Minimal Techno. Her trajectory includes countless performances across Argentina and abroad, appearances at iconic venues such as Cocoliche, Crobar Club, Niceto, Bahrein, The Bow, DvnePark and Rio Electronic Music, as well as multidisciplinary events, her own electronic music radio show, and over 80 tracks released worldwide. Today, she continues to evolve through CRVEL Agency (Crobar Club), while teaching music production and live set at Escuela Sónica. Her unique live shows blend synths, raw and hypnotic techno, deep atmospheres and her own live vocals, offering an introspective yet dance-driven journey.
